Leading a high profile life and dipping down as destiny gave a lesson actor Dilip of over 120 films in Tamil and Kannada breathed his last at the age of 56 years on Friday in Mysore. Dilip suffered kidney ailment and died at Vikram Hospital in Mysore.

Known to Kannada audience in the films like Shruthi, Thuguve Krishnana, Indina Ramayana, Thavarina Tottilu and others Dilip lead a joyous life and invested his earning in a factory that became pauper. He was looking after the Rajanikanth owned studio and bad health brought him to a poor stage in life.

Dilip was close to Rajanikanth for a long time and in 2005 he came to Mysore of severe BP and Sugar complaint. Dilip left behind wife Hema, children Mourya and Bhavya.
